What does the auto parts-to-whole ratio mean?

The auto parts-to-whole ratio means the ratio of auto parts to the sales price of the whole vehicle, that is, the ratio of the sum of the prices of all the spare parts of the vehicle on the market to the sales price of the whole vehicle. In layman's terms, it is to add up the price of the whole car dismantled and replaced into parts, and then divide it by the sales price of the whole vehicle, this is the auto parts-to-whole ratio. The high or low auto parts-to-whole ratio can preliminarily reflect the cost of repairing and replacing spare parts of the car.

The higher the auto parts-to-whole ratio, the higher the price of selling the whole vehicle into parts than the price of selling the whole vehicle. You didn't expect that selling a car into parts would be higher than the price of selling the whole vehicle, and it is still more than 1.5 times the sales price of the whole vehicle. For example, if the sales price of a car is 100,000, if the parts-to-whole ratio is 150%, then the price of selling the car into parts is 150,000. Of course, this is a theoretical situation, based on the price quoted for spare parts, not the actual price of dismantling and selling.

Then, according to the above description and calculation, we can make a preliminary judgment on the cost of later maintenance and replacement of spare parts of this car according to the ratio of auto parts to the whole vehicle. When we know the ratio of auto parts to the whole vehicle, we can get a rough range of the price of auto parts.

Let's take the calculation as an example. For example, a car with a price of 200,000 yuan has a statistically published ratio of 300%. We can make a preliminary judgment that the price of all spare parts of this car is 3 times the price of the whole vehicle, which is about 600,000 yuan. Then, after we buy this vehicle and use it, when we need to replace some spare parts in the later stage, we will find that the price of some spare parts will be more expensive.

Based on the above description of the ratio of auto parts to the whole vehicle, as well as some calculation examples, the ratio of auto parts to the whole vehicle is actually the ratio of the price of all spare parts of the car to the price of the whole vehicle. Through the size of such a ratio, we can make a preliminary judgment on the cost of replacing spare parts for the later maintenance of a certain model.
